There is a lot to learn from its history that changed the way we do things at present. For instance, mathematics had its roots in the Middle East. I am taking this course to learn what the Middle East contributed to civilization and know richness of its cultures, traditions and race. By learning and understanding all these, I will be able to see more of what the Middle East has to offer besides the two previous stereotypical answers. Besides, learning about other peoples and cultures always broadens ones horizons and perspectives that enables one to value the difference amongst peoples.
In being able to know the difference, I will begin to understand why people of other cultures especially the Middle East are what they are and not form any judgmental conclusions based on stereotype.
