In the last three years FedEx Corporation has increased revenues from $29B in 2005 to $35B in 2007, with an increase in net income of $2.43B to 3.2B in the corresponding period. Return on Assets has also increased significantly from 7.1% in 2005 to 8.4% in 2007. Tables 1, 2 and 3 provide financial analysis of FedExs performance and Figure 2 provides an overview of market share data. FedExs brand strength is significantly greater than closest rival UPS, which has led to their continual increase in market share over the last three years (FedEx SEC Filings, 2008). Given the fact that the companys brand has become synonymous with quick and accurate overnight deliveries, and their ability to synchronize integrated marketing campaigns, the momentum in the global logistics marketplace is on their side today
