Contentment with the organization is very important for employees. Each employee has his/her own driving force such as benefits, rewards or personal developments. An employee will not resign if his primary needs and driving force are being fulfilled. It is said that the success of an organization remains with the employees. There are certain activities and programs that the HRM can do in order to impact on the productivity of the workers. There are four major functions of the HR department namely: acquisition where they are responsible for the needs of the employees, development where they need to monitor the performance of the employee and suggest a trainings if needed, compensation where they need to align their salary in the market as well as giving special incentives and added benefits to the employees, and maintenance is keeping the employees safe within their working environment and keep them healthy (Gale, 2006).
