As these networks including CNN, Comedy Centrals Daily Show, and Fox News have the greatest freedom of any of these news media, their approaches to covering entertainment, financial and political news varies significantly from network television and national newspapers. Each of these cable networks is more integrated to social networking and online media, with their websites being significantly more advanced than television networks and newspapers. CNN has several correspondents on social networking site Twitter for example, as does the Daily Show. With this freedom comes a high degree of satire from The Daily Show, which takes the most popular stories of each day and turns them into comedy. The freedom of these networks is also seen in how biased they can be in the reporting of entertainment, financial and political news. FOX News has a definite bias towards more conservative analysis of news while The Daily Show is completely the opposite. Of the three, CNN appears to strive for balance, yet their key political and news analysts occasionally degenerate their analysis of financial and political events into convenient and often incomplete analytical frameworks.
