Considering this is the Information Age, television can be defined also as including Internet TV and mobile telephone TV since they bring live or replayed video feeds of politicians. Since politicians can be seen and heard through television, the scrutinizing viewer or voter can read, analyze and interpret the gestures, gait, and body language of politicians. These are non-verbal communications attributes that tells a lot about a politician. Provided a politician is not doing any theatrics while being show on TV, the discerning public as a powerful tool that can determine an honest politician from an unworthy one by comparing the validity of the verbal communications with the non-verbal ones. It is true what is said mostly by psychologists and psychiatrists that verbal communications are not always enough to understand a person; his or her body language may tell a different story. Thus, this is where the power of the visual and mobile media comes into play.
