Beyond overcoming the obvious difficulties in adjusting to a new country and culture, I also learned to appreciate the alternate perspectives, experiential differences and even philosophical distinctions of my newly diverse array of friends and relations.
In many ways, this is what has directed my attention to the vaunted University of Michigan, highly regarded for its appeal to diversity and the construction of a harmonious living atmosphere. The opportunity to be exposed to new cultures and to be placed into contact with individuals of all manner of background is especially appealing in my projected profession. With the global economy increasingly coming to define the world of finance, my intense passion for economy and finance studies will be better facilitated in an educational context where members of the global community are well-represented.
Diversity is a touchstone to greater collective refinement of the global market economy. As one who hopes to be an active and influential participant in the field of financial consulting, I treasure any chance to interact with those who might teach me
